Our straps are a full 2 in. (5 cm) wide for optimum tree protection. The 81 in. (2.05 m) length allows for fairly large trees. Our nylon straps have a surprising breaking strength of 1500 lbs. (nearly as strong as our rope). Two straps weigh only 3.6 oz. / 102 g.
Clark Tree Straps are not intended to replace the anti-wicking rope that comes on all Clark hammocks. These straps are strictly for tree protection.
